Classic Album Sundays

As part of the Royal Albert Hall‘s Festival of Film, Classic Album Sundays’ Colleen Murphy is joined by Emmy Award-winner Michael Price to discuss work in film, television and his solo output.

Classic Album Sundays is an immersive shared listening experience which allows fans to get as close as possible to the artist’s music – with focus on their influential albums and songs – through stories told by the artist and listening to music on a world-class audiophile hi-fi system.

The conversation will explore his work on movies such as Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Richard Curtis’ Love Actually, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason and Alfonso Cuarón’s Children of Men, as well as his work in television including the critically acclaimed BBC series Sherlock.

Colleen and Michael will also explore his critically acclaimed debut album, Entanglement, released on Erased Tapes Records and described as ‘gorgeous’ by Rolling Stone.

Tracks from these key works will be played on an audiophile hi-fi sound system courtesy of Grahams Hi-Fi, Rega, Naim and Bowers & Wilkins
